Professor Willem Verbeke is involved in Project Alpha for ExploreMe: Genetic and Epigenetic Study of Psychological Development. This is a new and ambitious undertaking with the goal of bridging a well-known phenomenon called the transmission gap.

It focuses on examining how epigenetic markers (such as methylation) affect the expression of genetic variables that have a major effect on the development of personality traits and attachment styles.

These then also have an effect on the resilience development of commercial professionals.
