Willem Verbeke and Lamar Qayoumi developed six "building blocks" with which anyone can learn to effectively influence an individual or a group - or to recognize an applied influence technique and be better able to defend yourself against it. In Effective Influencing, these six building blocks are discussed in detail and illustrated with real-life examples. The authors also discuss the three separate processes that play an important role in influencing others: elementary, cognitive and emotional processes.
